Taj

The Project showcases a detailed elevation which not only adds aesthetic value through ornamentation but also functional value as a passive cooling device.

The cavity walls allow us to house the robust columns to achieve an open plan layout. The name ‘Taj’ is symbolic to the crown of the building which is the water tank camouflaged in the same style inspired by Carlos Scarpa’s work. The lattice design and staircase adds to the uniform language of the built form.
